Marianist Lay Formation Initiative (MLFI)
Enter the Upper Room...

The roots of Marianist lay communities trace back to the "upper room," where the first Christian community gathered after Jesus' Ascension (Acts 1:13). Father Chaminade's mission to rechristianize France began with small communities of faith patterned after these first disciples.
You are invited to enter the upper room experience through the Marianist Lay Formation Initiative (MLFI). This one-year program supports laity who are passionate about the Marianist charism and desire to spread the Marianist spirit in their area.
Funded by the Marianist Family Council, the MLFI program is designed to assist individuals in developing an increased understanding of Marianist mission, tradition, and history.
Become a dynamic partner in spreading the Good News as a person of faith committed to living the Marianist charism by initiating or renewing a lay Marianist community in your area.
