Danny Kallenberg

Danny Kallenberg began his internship at NACMS in August of 2007. He is a recent graduate from the University of Dayton in general studies with a minor in religious studies. His honors thesis, "Retraining Postmodern Christians to Care for the Poor," was advised by Ray Fitz, SM, and Sandra Yocum-Mize. As might be expected, Danny would like to focus his contributing internship project around the Marianist approach to Justice.

In 2004-05, Danny was a volunteer with the Franciscans in Chicago, where he worked at a shelter for the homeless. He also has had experience at The Other Place, a day shelter in Dayton.

Danny and his wife Sandra currently live in Dayton. They recently welcomed their first child, Elena, into the world.
