Patti Gehred

Patti Gehred began her association with NACMS as an intern in the fall of 2004. She has enjoyed all facets of growth and learning, both professionally and personally, her internship provided. She gratefully accepted the opportunity to be a permanent member of the NACMS staff as "Coordinator of Virtual Learning and Curriculum Innovation."

As part of her internship, Patti compiled a daily calendar/journal of Mother Adèle quotes entitled, God Alone, Thoughts from Adèle. Combining her love of playing games and life-long learning, Patti created Marianist Lingo Bingo as an entertaining way for members of the Marianist family to learn more about Marianist vocabulary and building community.

During her internship, she became a member of the "Marianist Lay Formation Initiative." The members of this initiative didn't want the experience to end after they completed the office training, so they continue corresponding and supporting each other as the Delphos lay community. She is also a member of the new  Grand Walkers MLC whose current ministry is supporting the Marianist Environmental Education Center (MEEC) on the Mount St. John Property in Dayton, OH.

In her new positions as Coordinator, Patti will continue working in partnership with the NACMS staff, using her educational background and internship experience to create informational and inviting ways to learn more about the Marianist Family; past, present, and future.

Patti lives across the street from NACMS and enjoys her two-minute walking commute to work. She and husband Paul have successfully launched two young adult daughters into the world and look forward to seeing what the future holds as empty nesters.
