Throughout May 2026, the NACMS team had the privilege of engaging with Marianist Educational Associates (MEAs) across our universities, exploring how our shared history shapes our current mission.
Evolution & Connectedness: Mike Bennett and Bro. Tom Giardino, SM, presented to current MEAs at the University of Dayton. They offered a unique look at the history of Mount St. John, highlighting how the property has continuously evolved to serve the Marianist Family and its deep-rooted connections to the university.
Foundations for the Future: Sr. Laura Leming, FMI, and George Lisjak connected with 30 faculty and staff members currently in MEA formation across the three Marianist universities. Sr. Laura focused on living the Marianist charism and how we carry the Founders' stories into the present day, while George provided an overview of how NACMS resources can support the MEAs' vital work.
