In December, the American Theological Library Association (Atla) accepted a proposal from Bro. Andrew Kosmowski, SM, to coauthor a chapter for The Theological Librarian's Handbook, Volume 7: Library Collaboration and Development. Bro. Andrew will collaborate with Kayla Harris and Stephanie Shreffler, two librarians at the University of Dayton (UD), to explore the unique relationship between their institutions. |

Jessica González Uhlig, the NACMS program administrator, continues her exploration of Marianist leadership by looking at the importance of the interior life for today’s leaders. She draws on examples from our Marianist Founders to illustrate “leadership that was rooted in deep prayer, community, and a vision larger than themselves.” Our Marianist Founders show us that “true leadership begins with the inner life—with cultivating virtues such as humility, courage, and fidelity to one’s values.” |

Nick Dalton, of the Embrace Marianist Lay Community, began an independent study with NACMS. Drawing on his extensive background in East Asian history, Nick is researching the Marianist legacy across Japan, China, and Korea. On January 28, 2026, as part of the requirements for completing the Marianist History Course for Novices, Society of Mary Novice Paul Pruski shared with NACMS staff a moving reflection on a pivotal healing of Blessed Chaminade’s foot and his pilgrimage that followed. Paul compared Chaminade's pilgrimage to Verdelais with Paul’s own impactful experience at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe. |
